IKAF, together with its international partnering organizations IFA /IPA and IMA, has organized two Info Sessions and a verifiable seminar for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The event took place in Prishtina.
Representatives of the respective organizations, during the Info Sessions offered to the attendees on the room, outlined the opportunities for internationalization of their acquired qualifications earned by considering the partnership with national institute IKAF.
Jonathan Barber – head of Business Development at the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) has summarized the scope of activities of the organization, as well as the geographical coverage. In this regard, Barber has introduced to the attendee of the event opportunities which come for IKAF members to have worldwide recognition of their professional certificates.
Barber also held a seminar emphasizing “The changing landscape for Accountants and how technology is affecting reporting and working practices”. He elaborated one of the most demanded topics on accountancy while explaining how technological advances have an impact on the accounting profession.
The Director of the IMA (Institute of Management Accountant) for Europe – Alain Mulder, on the other hand, during his online session arranged from Amsterdam, made a brief presentation on CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certificate and opportunities for the Kosovo and region students to attend CMA courses provided by IKAF.
