Aziz Tayyebi will also speak about “Managing with Courage”, a great and highly important topic with many things to get out. Participants will also earn 1 CPD.

Grete Buivydaite is a Business Development Specialist at IMA’s Amsterdam office, responsible for creating and maintaining long term relationships with customers and the growth of CMA candidates within the Europe region. Previously, Grete worked in various sales and consultancy positions, such as portfolio management and the analysis and implications of renewable energy market development. Grete holds an MSc degree in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University and BSc in Environmental Engineering.

Aziz Tayyebi is Director, International sales and business development for Becker Professional Education, responsible for the development of Becker’s professional education portfolio across various international markets, to help ensure candidates are able to maximise their chances of obtaining career defining, global professional certifications in the most efficient and effective manner.

Being a qualified professional accountant from the UK and a specialist in IFRS, Aziz had worked for the ACCA, on its official global policies on IFRS, financial reporting and Islamic Finance as well as developing thought leadership in those area. During his time at ACCA, Aziz represented them at key international forums and committees, such as UK Trade & Industry (UKTI), International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), UK-India Taskforce on Accounting and Governance and Federation of European Accountants (FEE).

Aziz has a BA in Economics and is a qualified accountant from the UK, having trained and been a manager with Ernst and Young (EY).
